Oh hey!
Today's outfit post is one I wore to dinner the night before last, here in Downtown Miami. My husband Fabio and I were joined by Arielle and her boyfriend Tony, along with my little brother Leo for an evening at Gyu-Kaku.
Gyu-Kaku is based in downtown Miami and is a restaurant that I believe is from LA, and one that I can only highly recommend. It was my second time eating there and second ever time having Korean bbq and it just seems to get more delicious each time and more and more fun!
If you are wondering how on earth it's fun, the concept is that you sit at a table with a mini grill in the center and get to choose from a wide variety of meat, seafood and vegetables. They serve hot appetisers (or starters if you're from the UK) and their variety of dipping sauces are to die for. They also serve some amazing desserts, from deep-fried cheesecake to smores! We went with the smores because you get to roast the marshmallows at the table and it's again really fun and of course, delicious!
My outfit is a balance of smart and casual and is perfect for transitioning from a dinner to a club, which is what we were supposed to do that evening but plans change! I wore a brand new pair of Christian Louboutin So Kate high heels in a nude patent finish with a patent Chanel extra mini flap bag which is also a newbie from London, and I am absolutely in love with them both. My cargo trousers are by Polo Ralph Lauren and I actually found them in TK Maxx in London for £29.99! Such a bargain and they fit so well - I was really lucky in finding them. My top is from ASOS and is a perfect crop to mix and match with a wide variety of items. My watch is the Chanel J12, rings are from ASOS, Me&Ro and Rebecca Minkoff (which I again found in TK Maxx!) – and for those who may have noticed the thick white band from my underwear, I am wearing my Calvin Klein undies!
