What's up peeps? Above is an outfit I wore on Wednesday to the food tasting for our wedding, and I figured it was a smart/caj kind of day so I threw on this outfit.
I recently wondered into Topshop in Westfield after dinner with Louka and there happened to be a sale on and usually I avoid sales as I find them just too frantic and I usually don't have the time to rummage through the clothing and really look for items that are in my size or to my liking but for some reason this sale was super organised and and had some seriously amazing stuff, which to me was a bit odd as I haven't really been too keen on Topshop's previous season this year but the sale stuff was right up my street and I found these really lovely trousers which have a silky shine to them and I love the pop between the colour and the b&w and they were down to about £20 I think which I found quite reasonable, and I love a nice pair of printed trou!
My top was actually a hand-me-down from my mom and I really like it because it isn't very long and therefore is a great piece for tucking into to trousers or high waisted shorts, and its also of a knit texture which means it is cozy and keeps me slightly warmer in cold London.
My wedges are YSL and I got them at last year's FNO :) and my rose gold necklace is from H&M
The food tasting went really well, and for some reason wasn't too overwhelming considering we tried about 8 different canapés, 2 veg meg and fish starters, mains and then desert followed by more canapés. Yikes. I also tried 6 different wines, 3 different champagnes and 3 different cocktails... good heavens! Haha. Penelope Cruz was also escorted through the ballroom where we were situated for our tasting to their rear exit but that was a cool and random sighting! Apparently she was staying there as her husband Javier Bardem was in London to attend the new Bond movie premiere.
